Once you see the Texas Tech campus you’ll understand why so many students feel immediately at home and why alumni have such fond memories. Its breathtaking architecture and wide open spaces set the stage for an exciting college experience. But don’t take our word for it. Come see it for yourself.
Before I came to Texas Tech, all I really knew about it was what I could see online and what I had heard from people. And so I had this general idea of, OK, wow. It's going to be huge. And it's going to be absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. And I hope people are nice.
It's important to visit campus because you're making an important decision. And you want to have the opportunity to see the campus, talk to faculty, staff, students, and really experience what it would be like to be at that university for the next four years, where you're going to call home.
My first day visiting campus was when I got my first tour. We were here for about an hour. And then right after that, we went to the Tech-TCU game. And it was my senior year of high school. And it was awesome.
Visiting for the first time was really fun. We met with somebody from the biology department. And we walked around the campus. We saw a residence hall.
I first decided Texas Tech was for me right after I visited it. I looked at a bunch of schools afterwards, but nothing compared to Texas Tech. The spirit and the energy I felt on campus was unlike any other school. And I really enjoyed that.
